How to download
  • Click on the desired script file to download it into your local Downloads directory. Then proceed to install the script by moving the action/script file to the proper GIMP directory as described below.
  • Or right-click on the desired action file and click Save link as... to save the script file to the desired directory.

How to install GIMP scripts
  • Go to your local GIMP curves directory. This is typically located under:
for Windows: C:/Users/[your-user-name]/.gimp-[version#]/curves
for Mac: /Users/[your-user-name]/Library/Application Support/Gimp
  • Download the GIMP script and drag the file to your GIMP curves directory
  • Open GIMP and the image your want to apply the  action/script to
  • Click Colors > Curves > the triangle button next to the + button > Import Settings from File... and locate the GIMP script you downloaded to import the script to GIMP (see image on the left)
  • Now the script should appear in your Presets drop down menu. Just click to apply.

Troubleshooting
  • If after clicking Colors > Curves > the triangle button next to the + button > Import Settings from File... you do not see the GIMP script you downloaded then you most likely have not dragged the GIMP script file to the correct GIMP directory
  • There are many more indepth tutorials on how to install GIMP scripts all over the internet that may be better tailored to your operating system or GIMP version. Consult a search engine.
